After creating Philio Sans, I really wanted to continue designing typefaces. For my senior thesis I explored some of the current trends in typefaces. I saw that a lot of typefaces I was drawn to had fun sans serif that had rounded corners but they were mainly used for display text due to the thickness of the stroke. I decided that I wanted to design a typeface that would have those lovely qualities but that could be used as body copy text. I also wanted a typeface that could be used complimentary to Philio Sans and so as a result I ended up with a typeface that had slightly squared edges and could be used at the small size comfortably of 8pt.
